Kandace Rodriguez is a Brooklyn-born, Trinidadian-American lover of words. Since childhood, she could be found with her favorite books in hand, no matter the place, and for any occasion. Through stories, she could delve deep into her imagination, where the clouds could be made of cotton candy, and the trees are mango-filled. In the daytime, she is an Electrical Engineer.

As an avid storyteller, Jayson K. Jones explores the intersections of race, identity, and all of the isms that you could think of. He’s been dreaming of short stories, novels, and screenplays since childhood and writing for just as long. Jayson’s a social worker by day and at night, he reminisces about Brooklyn before all of the coffee shops and artisanal-everything-else.

Kandace & Jayson believe that stories can shape and ultimately change the world. They founded Three L Press in honor of their daughter, Olivia, to do just that. Three L, or Liv’s Little Library, focuses on giving voice to those who are often voiceless and disrupting the status quo. The disruptive trio can be found in New York where they live, laugh, and play.
